  • Our auctions are held online at GunBroker.com. User name “Mt Mccoy Auctions” -

  • We have two week long auctions running around the clock on GunBroker. Starting and ending every other Sunday night.

  • You will need to create an account on GunBroker to be able to bid on the items. Register here

  •  If you purchase a gun from another online seller, dealer, or individual, we can handle the transfer of the firearm. Please make sure the firearm you are transferring is California Compliant. We will not accept any firearm that is considered an Assault Weapon, AR or AK type rifles even if California Compliant. We do not accept ammunition transfers. 

  • If you have any additional photo requests please email us at photo@mtmccoyauctions.com and we will get those photos added within 24-72 hours of the request. Please note we do not do bore photos. 

  • If you have a question for any of the items we have listed on GunBroker please hit the ‘Ask Seller A Question' tab and submit your question through there. That will be the best way to get an accurate answer. Please allow 24-72 hours of the request for a response.

Consignment Questions

  • Yes, absolutely! We can always make a cash offer the same day for any individual items or entire collection.

  • Please call us at 805-285-0715 and we will get you connected to someone in our acquisitions department. We can come to you if needed.

  • The check will be placed in the mail 30 days after the auction closes or you are welcome to come pick up your check in person after 30 days. 

  • The auction will run for a full two weeks, starting on Sunday evening and ending two Sundays from then. We have new auctions starting every two weeks on Sunday evening. 

  • Our commission rate will vary depending on the size and value of the firearms being consigned. Please contact our acquisition department further for more details. 805-285-0715 or sell@mtmccoyauctions.com

  • We will be emailing you the GunBroker links to follow each item individually at auction.

  • Please call us at 805-285-0715 and we will get you connected to someone in our acquisitions department. We will work with you to get the items mailed here or we can come to you depending on the size and value of the collection. 

  • Yes! We will definitely buy any ammunition or any firearm related items from you. These items do not usually qualify for consignment and can only be purchased outright.

  • We do not auction any modern AR/AK Style rifles, even when California compliant. We can not take any firearms with threaded barrels, or any pistols chambered in a shot gun caliber. Please reach out to us for any further questions or more clarification. 805-285-0715

After Auction Process

  • Once payment and FFL (if applicable) are received we typically get orders shipped out within 3-5 business days. 

  • We accept Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, Cash, Personal Checks and major Credit/Debit Cards. There is a 4% processing fee for any card, debit or credit.

  • We will be emailing an invoice over to you by the end of day Monday after the auction closes. It will be sent through QuickBooks. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it. 

  •  Yes, we do offer combined shipping on similar items purchased in the same auction upon request. Example: We can not combine shipping for a handgun and a long gun won in the same auction as they can not ship together. Ammunition can not be combined with any firearms as it is illegal to ship any ammunition with a firearm. 

  • All of our firearms ship with an adult signature required, ammunition and any other items can ship without a signature required.

  • A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped out. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking number to update.

  • Unless you have received a past due payment reminder you do not have to notify us of your payment being mailed.

  • If you are exempt from sales tax you will need to upload your documents to GunBroker. Unfortunately, we can not remove that charge until GunBroker has removed it on their end. Please proceed through this link to upload the proper documents. https://www.gunbroker.com/user/taxexemption
